The Public Square is a monthly cable show hosted by Jeff Thielman. Each month we tackle issues that are of importance to our community. We typically talk to your neighbors to discover the local pulse, as well as interview experts on the topic at hand. The Public Square addresses issues with various points of view, and we try to include them in our shows. We hope you'll join us on cable or online. You can view the programs via links on the Programs page. Our program is broadcast on Arlington Community Media on the Public Channel on the following schedule: “The Public Square” is broadcast on the public channel (Comcast 8, Verizon 31 and RCN 3) onSunday at 9:30 p.m., Monday at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at 10:30 p.m., and Thursday at 8:00 p.m. on the public channel (Comcast 8, Verizon 31 and RCN 3). Our current program: Are you sick of our healthcare system? As officials in Washington, DC take part in a historic debate about legislation that seeks to overhaul the nation’s healthcare system, The Public Square hears from local residents who talk about their experiences as patients, caregivers, policy analysts, and practitioners in the current system.
